Sizing Up the Ideal Dog

Often we receive phone calls from those who have no idea what type of dog they want. It is necessary to examine all aspects of your life, your living conditions,
your budget and note the dogs that you feel would make the ideal dog for you and your family. After writing to races, you and your family have chosen, read all about each race as possible and then break the list up what you get in a single dog. (This is unless you plan to purchase more than one type of race.)
America's love affair with dogs has lasted for eons! There is a growing population of seniors who share their home with dogs. About 1 in 10 seniors were an animal servant in the house. Moreover, baby boomers are aging and getting a bit grayer which could explain the popularity of small breeds.

Owning a dog has many physical and psychological benefits. When trying to determine the best dog for you or your family, there is much to think! Can you means? Do you have the room? Who will take care of the dog? Do you have the time to invest in a dog? Do you want a light truck or dog? Do you want a little race or a big race or something in between?
Do you live in a quiet place where a lot of barking is not a good thing? Do you live in the country? Do you have a fenced area to keep the dog or the dog will stay in the house? Would you like a dog with short hair or long hair? Can you pay a dog with a lot grooming requirements? Are you allowed to own a pet if you live in a condominium or apartment? Do you need approval Domestic? Do you need approval from someone?

Many people play the "What kind of dog are you?" Game with a farmer and personally, I find it very aggravating. I'm sure other breeders find it aggravating. It is very frustrating for a farmer to enter in the details with someone on the phone about this type of dog they have and therefore, you not only have no idea what you want, but you must also get approval from someone before returning to the breeder. Your mind must be made up on the type of dog you look good before you call a breeder. If your dog is a family issue, then it should be discussed before contacting a breeder. You must also only call a breeder is advertising the type of dog you are looking for. If you have not yet determined what type of dog you want, do not put a farmer to find it for you.

If you're on a budget, do not be afraid to tell the farmer at the beginning your call and let them know what you can afford. Do not ask how a dog is. Chances are, you're just "Comparison Shopping and where dogs are concerned, this is totally the wrong thing to do. Just because you are calling breeders advertise the same race, does not mean you buy the same quality of the breed. If you are looking for a dog show … you do not want a dog that has no ancestral lineage or the champion and if you are looking for a pet, do not expect to pay a few dollars from a breeder who took the time to research CHAMPION LINEAGE their dog. If you're on a budget, you should try to get a dog that has few grooming requirements, needs medical, maintenance and comes from a pet / Lineage average or ancestry …….. maybe you can even look into the adoption a dog from a rescue agency, the humane society or animal shelter. Breeders have to charge a certain amount for their dogs in order to recover their costs and pay for overhead and costs related to their activity, while a shelter or relief agency is compensated by the State or Government funding and donations. Private breeders and kennels are not reimbursed by the state or receive public donations. While awareness about the breeding and rearing a puppy from a breeder is an expense out of pocket for a breeder and Kennel. Very few people have any idea how expensive and time it belongs to a breeder, let alone appreciate the difficult hours of time such employment required. It is very frustrating to hear people do the nasty comment with a breeder that they "live out their puppies "or a mill" puppy "and so on with the insults. I wonder how some people can be cheap when they seeking a puppy or dog from a breeder and then have the audacity to do the name calling if they have a kind of show on the road …. It is absurd! If you live in a condo or apartment, you may want to consider buying a dog "social" or race. It is important for dogs who live inside the apartments out and mingle. It is also imperative that you NOT crate your dog for hours. A dog needs to go out and romp around …….. they need to expand and strengthen the muscles and use their legs. They can not live their lives for hours in a crate spasmodic. Some of your smaller breeds that adapt well to apartments and condos are the following:

* Toy Poodle hybrid
* Yorkshire Terrier
* Maltese
* Poodle
* Butterfly
* Miniature Schnauzer
* Chihuahua
* Bichon Frize
* Boston Terrier
* Japanese Terrier
* Dachshund
* Cairn Terrier
* Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
* American Cocker Spaniel
* Sheltie
* Lhasa Apso
* Shih Tzu
* Basset Hound
* Pomeranian
* Pembroke Welsh Corgi
* Chinese Pug
* Schnoodle
* Pom-Chi
* Goldendoodle
* Schneagle
Puggle *

Several of the above breeds are small, nice and easy to live with. Some small breeds can cause big problems for people …. especially the independent thinkers such as the Jack Russell Terrier and those tend to be yappy or High Strung such your toy poodle purebred Pomeranian and Rat Terrier. The breeds that are traditionally bred for hunting do much better with someone who has a house with a nice large fenced in yard. These races may be the Beagle, Pointer, the English Setter, English Springer Spaniel, the buzzard, Black and Tan Coonhound, the Bloodhound. There are many breeds of hunting and Retrieving breeds that are much better outside than inside. Now, we are in 2006 and there are lots of very nice little dog hybrids that could very well develop in different life situations.

Dogs who needs grooming must be passed over if you are unable to provide the time, cost and care they need to maintain their coat in excellent condition and feel comfortable to take on this task yourself. These races may be the Bichon Frize, the Poodle, the Borzoi, the Maltese, Yorkshire Terrier, the shih tzu, the Lhasa Apso, the Schnauzer, the Havanese, the Goldendoodle, the Pekingese, the Pomeranian, the Lowchen, Tibetan Terrier, the Bearded Collie, the Shetland Sheepdog, the Old English Sheepdog and all long-haired Poodle hybrids.

Never buy a large breed dog if you do not time to give this race many walks outdoors or have an enclosed space to allow this race to use its muscles. Breeds such as Golden Retriever, Rottweiler, Mastiff, German Shepherd, Danes and other large breed dogs need space to roam and stretch! Crating for hours can cause many medical problems for dogs. Many people who crate their dogs for endless hours every day and every error of the difficulty of a dog walking for hip dysplasia! A dog is not allowed to build his muscles ……. allowing no opportunity to have room to grow, stretch, be run and the dog, it will be all sorts of aches and pains! Of course, there may be joint pain as well due to not use legs enough. If your dog is on hand for hours on end, you are stunting the growth of your dog. There is no way his muscles are complete and work the way they are suppose to work. Your dog is Achy ….. in muscle pain and stiffness. You might imagine you to be close to inside a box all day for hours and hours and never see anyone until the end of the day. Even if you do no fence for your garden ….. There are pens, kennel, you can buy that will allow your dog outside and be able to jump up ….. walk and breathe fresh air outside. Make sure however that your dog has plenty of shade and water as he or she may die suddenly heat fairly easily during the summer months. Tops shelter of canvas can be purchased for as little as $ 79 for the operation of kennels and they last for many years. Some hold up very nice if you do not get much snow in the winter. Kennel will start at approx. $ 179 – $ 299 and up. The good thing is that they are easy to implement and you can always add signs that your dog grows or as you need. This is very cheap compared to the bill is your veterinarian if your dog has started to show signs of medical problems of all the hours and months you have kept him confined. Thus, small dogs are good to those who have small living areas or who do not have time to take his dog long walks or jogging. Big dogs need lots of space! Large dogs must also be covered whatever the weather. With small dogs, you may be able to get away with the formation of paper .. Good humor dogs give people a boost physical and psychological. People tend to live better when they have a pet. They exercise more …… Get it Fresh Air ….. They can socialize with other more outside taking their pet for a walk ….. Citizens can receive the unconditional love of their pets.
But if a dog can be beneficial for your life ….. they can also increase your financial responsibilities and to inhibit some aspects of your life …. especially if you travel frequently and can not take your dog with you.
It is therefore very important that you keep a dog in your budget and life. Therefore it is important to know what type of dog you can afford before contacting the breeder. The puppies are very demanding as infants and toddlers. They require much training, much of your time and be costly.
While many dogs are bred to have large …. there are beautiful Metis who make great pets and you take your shower with the same great attention. Sometimes, the advantage of having an older dog is they had all their shots ….. they may be healthier than a puppy ….. they have passed the stage chewing …. they are using to noise and people ….. they may already be housebroken and sometimes they can fit just right in your home. Of course, there are drawbacks to purchase an older dog too. Some may have behavioral problems ….. some may even have problems with digging and chewing …. some may be wary, nervous and may have a tendency to bite for fear … especially if they have been abandoned, abused and mistreated. You can not blame the dog! Some dogs may be scarred for life because of how they were treated as a puppy from an abusive home. Abuse takes many forms and is not always just about blows. Abuse within the family household unit may affect the dog.
The Older dogs may also have developed diseases or conditions that require medical attention, so what may seem to be "good market "can actually cost you more long term with many veterinary fees. Although, unfortunately, many older dogs represent companions fine now, few are willing to adopt an older dog.
The downside of owning a puppy is of course the fact they need vaccinations …… they must have obedience training ….. they need to be very high …… they need to learn not chew on your furniture. ….
they can cost a lot of money when they become adults.
But it is the territory who owns a pet! There is NO SUCH thing as a perfect pet.
Dogs and cats have their faults like humans. They all have their whims …. medical problems as they go through life …. their need for attention and detail ….. the need for bathroom …. the need for teeth cleaning and care .. … eye problems …… need of veterinary care and of course … the need to eat, sleep and be happy. No amount of medical tests will guarantee a defect free animal! Puppy who have parents who are tested for everything under the sun can also down with a malformation, a disease or illness. That's life! Do not think you can own a pet and never having to prepare for emotional or financial loss. That will not happen. As with all living beings …. they eventually die from one cause or another. Even dogs that have been tested for anything that may still die of a hereditary disease or age-related or medical related problems. It is a fact of life.
I personally believe that you should not buy a dog on the basis of tests on his parents from the breeder. You turn on a blanket of false security if you think that because a farmer had parents of your puppy tested for every ailment known to man (and dog) that your puppy will NEVER DIE by any condition, sick or get a disease or a genetic disease. Well, chances are that your dog could be ran over by a car and do not die of any disease or illness …… There are no guarantees in life! I'm not going to paint a rosy picture where everyone can live happily ever after …… May you live well and your pet can live well, but nothing is final.

The basic principles in the care of a dog …….

When you decide Finally, choose your dog …. We hope you have also given some consideration to where your new pet is to go to sleep and which areas your pet will have a free hand. For crate training tips,
CLICK HERE. Because puppies are well known to chew anything they can get their mouth (like a teething baby), it is important that you have plenty of toys, knotted ropes, balls and other large items great for your puppy to play with. Never encourage your dog to play with your shoes, slippers, socks or other items personal. A dog can not tell the difference between your new stuff and old stuff. Raising a dog is like raising a child. They must learn between good and evil. It is important to "puppy proof" your home. This means that before you bring your new puppy home …. Make sure you do not have extensions laying around. Take any item that is small enough that your puppy to be placed inside his mouth and maybe swallowing. A puppy wants to taste everything! They can choking if they get a small article lodged in their throats … as a ball or toy and other small May belong to your child. Sure you do not have any glass around the floor or level "puppy".
It is a very good idea to have a cash …. great …. Nice ready for your new puppy. Litter can be placed inside and a plush toy to keep him or his company. But But make no mistake about it this fund as a baby-sitter substitution. As mentioned previously, fund your dog for hours each day. Your puppy wants to explore her new living spaces the same thing …. with an older dog. This includes trash, so make sure your dog or puppy can not go into the trash. Critical Illness can occur from eating the wrong thing.
Food is another important factor about your new pet. The foods you choose during the first year life of your puppy is critical to its adult development, health and growth. There are many products on the market and the selection of that which is perfect for you and your dog is important. Complete nutrition is crucial, make sure to read the return label on the product you select. Corn flour is one thing, you should stay away.
For advice on diet, CLICK HERE. You will face many choices …… Yes, it is important to bear in mind that you do not want a high protein food for your puppy as a food rich in protein can cause your dog grow too rapidly. Rapid growth may then cause bone and joint problems. You must keep in mind the level of activity your dog. Is he a runner? working dog? couch potato? Science Diet, Pedigree, Iams and Eukanuba are very good products on the market. Pedigree cost less than diet of science. Science Diet is less of Eukanuba and Iams Eukanuba costs less. While some stores will tell you that food with Iams or Eukanuba is cheaper in the long run, do not believe it! Some dogs absolutely love the taste and will eat just as they would the pedigree. Some owners, as animal feed with Alpo. Personally, I never liked the consistency of Alpo. We found very good results Pedigree, However, we also discovered that, sometimes, our puppies will develop an "allergy" to obtain a pedigree and dry or itchy skin or do not do well over a long period of time with this food. We do not know why, but there are usually one or two pups in a litter from time to time. A dog can become sensitive to their power, no matter how long they have been eating. Many people do not realize that when their dog intense itching over time and no fleas or parasites can be found that their food is causing the problem. Dogs can be sensitivities as well as people. When hair loss, weight loss, itching or scratching develops and everything seems to check very well take the food your dog eats into account. Sometimes changing the diet can make a huge difference. So while we start our puppies on Pedigree …… not every puppy will do well with it as they continue to age.
Foods containing antioxidants provide a defense system in good health. Free radicals attack cells, causing damage that can lead to a weakened immune system and may be serious diseases. The antioxidants like vitamins E and C, beta carotene and selenium have shown to reduce damage caused by free radicals. They also help to maintain the immune system of your pet and cons help reduce the risk of disease.

VITAMIN E: One of antioxidants the most versatile. Vitamin E helps support the process of healing. It was also shown to help prevent heart disease and neurological disorders. Vitamin E reduces the effects of aging.

Selenium: An essential trace mineral working with vitamin E and helps to create important enzymes.
These enzyme systems to help protect against cell damage. Selenium also works with other antioxidants in the fight against cancer.

Your puppy needs a lot of nutrition to get him or her through their first year. This will also keep your puppy and dog healthy and happy. Fat, protein and minerals like calcium and phosphorus help build strong bones and muscles and they also provide much energy to grow and play. Too much of a good thing? Certainly, too much of these nutrients can actually retard the growth of your puppy and may also contribute to problems such as obesity, bone diseases, heart and kidney disease and other serious illnesses. Dogs are sizes and shapes … so that their nutritional needs vary. Feeding your dog cheap and poorly put together, food is also a very bad thing to do. Therefore it is important that you keep a dog in your budget. Think about how your system would react if you could not afford good nutrition for yourself.

Spaying and neutering:

Each year in the United States, between four and six million pets end up in animal shelters. Many of these animals are euthanized. Defenders animals and those who are holier than thou wilt blame the owners for this problem. It is not always due to a breeder. The last place a good breeder wants his dog is in a shelter. Animals make their way to shelters through their irresponsible owners and the uneducated. Or sometimes they go to shelters due to the death of an owner or a serious illness. Arrangements for the care of your pet after your death is essential. Always include your pet in your will. Many people never give a second thought. Dogs can make their way to shelters being allowed to wandering the streets and they can make their way to shelters because of irresponsible breeders do not take care of their dogs. The best age to sterilize your pet is before he or she reaches six months of age. This is the age that male dogs are capable of projections litter. A female is generally to enter his first race at the age of six months.
Having your dog spayed or neutered prior to kick in hormones reduce many unwanted behaviors and also prevents unwanted or unplanned pregnancies. My personal beef with those who advocating sterilization as a few vets and kennel clubs is that they do not make it easy for dog owners to spay or neuter. Many owners want to have this procedure done, but the price of sterilization are out of control and many kennel clubs such as AKC, which organize events show entitled LAWYER castration or sterilization of dogs, but they refuse A DOG altered in the show ring …. which is completely false and shows a double standard!
In fact, because clubs do not kennel counsel that this procedure many pregnancies are unplanned and unwanted. A dog male or female can be just as beautiful if they are intact or modified. Many veterinarians practice outrageous prices and there are many people who can not pay for their control.
A clear example: having a cat spayed or neutered costs more than $ 180! As of 2006, we have seen the cost of spaying and neutering reach over $ 400! This is the full cost for the procedure, hospitalization and other shootings, etc. I personally believe that if veterinarians do not fix their spay / neuter fees on a sliding scale based on income of the owner, we would have less puppies and kittens on their way to shelters where they will most certainly that born to die younger age. Homeless and unwanted. Dog owners would then be able to afford this procedure could possibly contribute to the population explosion of unwanted pregnancies and unplanned in their dogs.
Many shelters and humane societies are now the spaying and neutering dogs before leaving their shelters …. that is great, but you must remember that they get state funds or donations from the public to make this possible. It is important that you can afford this procedure when you think about buying a new animal. Depending on your region, Sterilization vary in price.
DO NOT assume that a breeder selling a puppy or dog to you with the cost of sterilization included. There are times when dogs will be advertised in a local newspaper or online that have been modified and the owner does not ask for money or requesting for a small price for you to adopt the dog. Most often these owners are having to move suddenly or has changed their lives which can not include their pets.
We're not above Sterilization our own dogs. As time passes, our age or dogs we do not want addition to continuing the breeding of specific or special dog. Many of our dogs are sterilized and sterilized "dogs" Senior. Each year, as our dogs age and we remove the dogs from our breeding program, they are spayed or neutered. Although we advertise these dogs to approve an adoptive home ….. the fact remains that those who call us only want puppies or dogs they want to do not been changed to "race" between them. Unfortunately, senior or dogs from 4-6 years of age have difficulty being placed in adoptive homes because of lack of quality homes available to them. We have learned over the years that when someone calls and claims they are interested in our dogs …. they just want a free "breeding dogs. When we say that have to complete an application and that the dogs are altered and if they have not yet been modified, they must be modified before being allowed into their homes … We get the green light "always, thank you anyway" response. This shows that the house numbers Not a pet quality home that we wanted our aging dog go and it also shows the lack of available housing for older dogs who may still love and help the company find somebody.

DID YOU KNOW?

For the record, Most people who have the desire to own a dog, the desire to have their dog as a companion / pet. There are many people who do in the ring and on the ground in the competition with the dogs they buy, but most people do not wish to own a pet. The People in other countries like China, Thailand, Vietnam and other Asian countries are proud of their dogs because they consume a meal. The way they are slaughtered is completely outrageous! The beliefs are that if the dog was beaten, burned at the stake, hanged or burned alive, they will release their adrenaline which makes their meat tender and supposedly tells the myth that meat enhances the man's virility. Of course, there is no scientific evidence of a such and such abuse is outrageous!
The South Koreans consume more than 1 million dogs per year. The horror? This is of no interest to those believe that there is no harm in eating a dog for a meal. For those of us who love and worship them as pets, it is sad!
The South Koreans believe that there are health benefits such as digestion they consume dog meat.
Fortunately, since many groups have tried to change this practice, this tradition is lost. JUST fast enough! The practice of eating dog meat seems to be exclusively the older generation living outside the South Korean cities. Approximately 3 million euros (less than 10%) of the country of 46 million people, eating dog meat and consider it a delicacy. This means that millions of dogs are killed each year in this country but. Many of the young generation this is cruelty to animals (and indeed it is) and I hope that this practice will melt into history.
God thank you, this is not practice in the United States, but there are still plenty of animals who suffer at the hands of their owners and breeders. There is still a problem in the United States with dog fighting rings and those who beat them, train them for combat. We urge all those who know this type of behavior being notified their local police. There are many breeders who raise their puppies and shipped to Asia and know very well they sell their puppies to be consumed as food or kept for breeding purposes to have puppies for meals consumed. There are breeders who do not care not end when their puppies and sell them to stores for pets or for commercial purposes. This type of farmer is a man of nothing that would even not a single dog. We have never sold a single puppy or dog to a pet or for commercial purposes and we certainly will NEVER ship a puppy or dog in an Asian country.

For micro-chips or NO to the microchip …. That is the Question:

We believe in micro-chipping all pets! This reality hit home with my oldest son who moved into a new house / area in California and his beloved Golden Retriever (who had us several years ago) ran away with her boyfriend, a labrador, when a storm blew through and caused their door open. During the terrible storm, the dogs got scared and hit the road. For days, my son searched high and low for his dogs. A few weeks later, he came across a website refuges where he saw a picture of his dogs "show dogs for adoption! Needless to say, he was immediately taken there and found his dog. The laboratory has never been identified or found. His dogs had a microchip, as we urge everyone to do
Their dogs would been scanned and immediately found their way back. It is very fortunate to have been able to recover at least one her beloved pets ….. But on a sad note, their Labrador who was the best friend of their Golden Retrievers, never made it home. The two became separated during the storm. We urge everyone to join PETtrace, the national recovery across supported by national associations of state veterinary medicine. Almost every dog and cat, which made its way to a shelter is scanned at the entrance. Unless you and your pet are part of the recovery system, there is no way to identify your pet or know whence it comes. Many animals lose their collars or are carried away by those who steal. If your pet become stolen, the system also informs organizations and veterinary clinics to be on the lookout for your pet. Micro-Chipping is not a luxury …. its a necessity. It is a very simple process that can be done at the same time your pet receives its vaccination and the cost is minimal. All our dogs are micro-chipped and we highly recommend it!

SO, YOU WANT PURHASE FROM A PET Pet Store?

If you've stumbled on a very cute dog in your local pet …. Here is what you need to know about puppies that make their way to these facilities for pets. Breeders who sell their puppies to stores Pet breeders are irresponsible people who have difficulty selling their puppies to the general public or they can also be private breeders educated who do not want to "deal" with their litter of puppies that they just had to let little Susie shows emerging. More than likely, they sold few puppies and then they had just did not want to "deal with". People still believe that puppies in pet stores come from "Puppy Mills" or " commercial farmers. not always the case! More educated, private breeders sell their puppies to pet stores to any other company. Unfortunately, there even Goldendoodles sold to pet stores from breeders types mentioned above.
Pet shops to beat the nation through newspaper and Internet ads for breeders who give their puppies to be away or have very low prices because they know that by scoring at least 300% they make their money and then some.
Pet shop owners buy a lot of their puppies under false pretenses and to present to farmers as a family seeking to replace a dog that has died or looking for a puppy for their "children", knowing full well that the puppy they just bought go to their shop to sit in glass cages for the public to view. Many get sick and unhealthy to be mixed for a store Pets in the other, if the store is a chain. Believe it or not, the majority of puppies in stores for pets are registered with the American Kennel Club … assumed the god of all dog clubs, which has "nothing but responsible" breeders registered with them! Hum! Yeah, right! Another sad reality is those who sell their puppies in pet stores pet does not even care who buys them or they whether or not they will be cared for properly. No responsible breeder would ever dare sell their puppies to a pet or any other installation of this genre. One ways by which a responsible breeder may discourage pet stores from contact with them is not to negotiate with someone who wants the breeder "lower price" or "give them a break in the price. When a potential customer claims that they" give the puppy a good home, but many can not afford to pay. " This is a red flag. If a client can not afford the price of a farmer asks, most often because they can not afford unexpected veterinary costs of dogs either. Most pet stores will ONLY buy puppies from breeders listed above who are registered with the American Kennel Club. Because they can get top dollar for puppies to people who believe that dogs registered to Kennel Club Dog QUALITY. What surprises me even more is how many people assume that all breeders who register their puppies and dogs breeding with AKC are responsible breeders with quality dogs! Where do these AKC registered puppies inside stores and stores pets come from?? If your first response was a "puppy mill" … you have just received an "F" Non – to answer correctly! These so-called responsible breeders who have sold their puppies in shops and stores are pet breeders private and commercial breeders who register their litters with the American Kennel Club, Continental Kennel Club and other canine services stating that raise to a dollar soon! Yes … actually is very fast can be made when all you do is produce a litter of puppies and six weeks after birth, to sell the entire litter to the pet. It's very simple! Pet shops across the country buy bedding whole, then to distribute them to other chain stores. It is very sickening. The breeder has never spent a penny to caring for puppies … never need to spend time or effort either! Any breeder … commercial or private can take many fast by Bucks that. WE KNOW! We receive calls SHOPS Pet and stores across the country PUPPIES WANTING and since I started in 1996 …. I can say with pride and yelling I HAVE NEVER SOLD A SINGLE PUPPY What I created in a pet store or a PET! Private breeders who sell puppies and litters to store pet and pet shops across the country are the "true puppy mills, and that's exactly what I personally believe a puppy mill to be. The puppy mill is a breeder who spends an arm and a leg on their litters …. which has enormous Past expenditures and has implemented a great time with their puppies and dogs. I do not how many dogs a breeder owns …. it is not what a breeder is a puppy mill. Private breeders who dump their staves off at the pet does not give a rats ass who buys their puppies ….. What kind of home their puppies go … how long they must sit for passers-by gawked through a window … do not care whether or not a pet store or pet shop will take good care of their little set … all they ask is that the object have dumped a litter of 5-12 pups and returned to "pay" check the pet store. This fact is whether people choose to Believe it or not! I personally know farmers who do this … do not tolerate … do not do it …. but know that it is a fact that this practice exists in all the United States on a daily basis.
What you do not know is also a Pet Store PET SHOP and want nothing to do with an older puppy. They also pay very little to the farmer for each puppy …. but the farmer who did this … they prefer to rake in $ 200 per dog than paying more than they know they will take, keeping the pups until someone calls them to buy one.
